Gulfport/ NOLA

This past week, we took a family trip to Gulfport, MS and New Orleans, LA. We spent a couple days at the beach in Gulfport. It is a 24 mile man-made beach. It was SO nice and really shallow at low tide, so the kids had a blast playing in the water. Then we headed to NOLA to meet up with my (Bria's) dads side of the family for a little (lot) of GREAT food and GREAT music. We ended our trip at the Jazz Fest on Sunday. It was a lot of fun to get away for awhile!!

A BBQ place we checked out because we saw it on TV as one of the best! It was pretty darn good and a cool atmosphere

This pic shows how far out it was shallow...perfect for kids!
