Bath time!

Kylie got her first bath at home today...she liked getting her hair washed, but wasn't so sure about getting scrubbed down!

Kylie is here!!! She was born on 01-10-09 at 7:20am. 7 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long. There are a lot more pictures to come!!

One of Jaxon's new favorite things to do is Paint pictures. He has painted 2 paintings and I have 2 cute stories from them. On his first painting I asked him if he was painting it for Mommy? He said, No for Kylie (His soon to be baby sister). We are going to frame it and hang it in her room.

On his second painting I asked him if he can try and paint an Elephant, he didn't respond and after about 30 seconds he pointed with his brush to the top right of his painting and said Giraffe! I looked closer and it was as plain as day....A Giraffe! It was probably not his intention to paint this but still cute. If it was his intention it had to be the best Giraffe by a 2 year old I've ever seen. Baby Van Gogh????

She could be here any day now, and we have finally finished the nursery! Lets just hope she really does come out a girl!! (And yes, our household artist did the paintings!)

Christmas!

Christmas was full of family time and Jaxon opening/playing with all of his presents. At one point, I think he had a mental breakdown because he had so many new toys! Two of his bigger gifts were a play kitchen, which he is helping put together and a "Cars" bike. At Xmas Eve...He got a present from Santa and loved to dance around the Xmas tree, which is a Danish tradition.

Big Boy Bed!!!

Now that Jax is big 2 year old and we are going to be in need of a crib soon, we transitioned him to a big boy bed on Monday!! Shockingly all went well! He went to bed without any difficulty and actually slept in late! So we will see if that continues! But so far, so good!! And one of his new favorite things is chocolate milk, but don't tell him its milk! We call it chocolate :)

Oh how the time flies!! Jaxon turned 2 yrs old today!! He had a day full of celebration! It started with a pizza party with his friends in the afternoon and then a party with some family in the evening. He said birthday and cake all day.
