This past week, we took a family trip to Gulfport, MS and New Orleans, LA. We spent a couple days at the beach in Gulfport. It is a 24 mile man-made beach. It was SO nice and really shallow at low tide, so the kids had a blast playing in the water. Then we headed to NOLA to meet up with my (Bria's) dads side of the family for a little (lot) of GREAT food and GREAT music. We ended our trip at the Jazz Fest on Sunday. It was a lot of fun to get away for awhile!!

James' Visit part 2/ Easter
We decided to have our Easter a little early so that Tim, Jacqueline, and Olivia could celebrate with us. The morning started out with hidden Easter baskets and then an egg hunt in the yard in the evening. The kids had a good time...
Easter on the Welch side. The first pic is one year ago. None of the kids wanted to keep the ears on...This year, all of them wore the ears, including baby Donnie! They also enjoyed a little egg hunt.
