PROGRESS!!
WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS!!! This is the basement just days before our carpet is going in!! Greg has put hours of painting in to get it ready for the carpet!! We are soooo close!
This is what you will see when you come down the stairs. The paint color looks a little funky in the picture, but looks awesome in person...And yes, that is our new TV on the wall patiently waiting to be hooked up!!
This is the back wall of the living room. It shows the frames around the windows and the ledge that runs throughout the back wall
This is looking down the hall towards the bedroom and bathroom
And this is the bathroom...It is a blue with all white fixtures.

One Year Anniversary!
Monday 9/29 was our 1 year anniversary! Greg took it upon himself to plan the day/night. But, unfortunately some of his plans fell through, but we still had a great time. First we checked in to our awesome hotel (pictured below). It was The Grand Hotel downtown Minneapolis. We had awesome views and all of the accommodations were so nice. Then we walked through the skyway's to our dinner reservations. He had made reservations at an upscale sushi restaurant because he knows I love that. But when we got there, I felt bad because he HATES sushi, so we decided to see what else was in the area. We ended up at The Capital Grill. It was one of the best meals we've ever had! Then we went to a movie and then back to the hotel. Greg brought our toasting champagne glasses that we had at our wedding which we drank vitamin water out of. Then he also remembered that we got a free replica cake from where our wedding cake was from...the only thing is that he had no idea what kind we had, so he just picked one. It was still really good, but funny. Then the big bummer of the plans was that he had planned a hot air balloon ride for Tuesday...but after reading the fine print (on Monday) we found that you couldn't go pregnant...so we have a balloon ride coming to us next spring or whenever we want!! So instead we are having a romantic getaway finishing our basement!

A Family Outing...
Monday, September 15, 2008
For my (Greg) birthday my incredible, beautiful, thoughtful wife (Bria) purchased 2 tickets for the Chicago Bears vs Indianapolis Colts this past Sunday. The game was played in the new Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis. It was a great venue, great seats and a great day with the Bears coming out on top with a victory. Here are a few pics from the game. See why I say great seats!!
